Sabor Rebrand

This project is especially personal to me. Sabor Mexican Grill was founded in 2006 by my parents, Sonia and Kamal Warda. From a young age, I loved creating menus, signs, and paintings for their shop. When my parents transitioned to a food truck, my dad asked me to design the logo—and it’s now proudly displayed on the truck! Hearing the compliments he receives makes me incredibly proud.

I designed the logo in Adobe Illustrator, opting to hand-draw the typography and taco illustration since none of the preinstalled fonts captured the look I wanted. The black circle in the background provides structure while making the white text and yellow taco pop. I also selected the truck's full-body color to complement the logo, creating a cohesive, eye-catching design. Seeing my work out in public, especially on something so meaningful, is an unforgettable feeling!
