I designed this birthday invitation for my niece Valeria, who is turning one soon! Since the party theme is Care Bears, I stuck to that. Her mom wanted something fun and playful, so I took inspiration from invites she found online and set out to create something unique, vibrant, and adorable—just like Valeria!

To bring the design to life, I created a textured gradient in Adobe Illustrator, using colors that capture the whimsical essence of Care Bears. I also incorporated rainbows and clouds to add depth and a more three-dimensional feel.

For the typography, I chose playful, childlike fonts that enhance the fun aesthetic. I also rounded the stars to make them feel softer and more fitting for a baby’s first birthday.

Overall, this project was a joy to work on! It let me tap into my inner child and embrace the nostalgia of the Care Bears universe while creating something special for my niece.
